About

Literacy Brain Trust is a new, multi-contributor literacy blog featuring insights from professionals in education who are passionate about literacy.

Currently, “The Trust” has four members. We are excited about sharing our knowledge and experience with you! We have all worn different hats over the years as either teacher, principal, professor, literacy coach, administrator, content provider, etc. Trust members will address the biggest issues facing educators today, with topics like content literacy, family literacy, intervention and meeting standards.

Please engage with us by commenting and sharing our posts.

In addition to the trust members, there will also be guest posts from others who are passionate about literacy. If you’re interesting in submitting a guest post, please contact us with your name, educational background, and a brief description of the topic you’d like to address and why.

Send us an e-mail at contact@literacybraintrust.com and let us know what issues you’d like the Literacy Brain Trust to address.

Disclosure: Pacific Learning staff members administrate this blog to make sure content is posted on schedule. However, the trust members are allowed to post on topics and products that they believe benefit the education community and are not required to mention Pacific Learning products or services. We simply believe in the value of their shared knowledge and want to make it available as a service to the education community.
